Refund Policy

By taking your reservation, we agree to keep a room or rooms available to you, to the exclusion of all others, for the dates you have requested. In return, we rely on customers who have made reservations in advance to give us fair notice of cancellation.Talk to our Refund Policy Expert in person now.

Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of customer to ensure that he/she pitches to his/her accommodation reservation on time.

Re-Schedules

All desired reschedules are to be communicated by the customer at least a 7 days in advance especially when the customer is local(Botswana). Otherwise if the customer is not local but in Africa, reschedules must be communicated within 14 days. Conversely when the customer is out of Africa, the reschedules are to be communicated within 20 days.

Services Sold

Plateau Guest House sells services not products, therefore all services are sold “as is”. Each client assumes the responsibility for their purchase. You may contact us within 24hours from the purchase date if you wish to exchange your purchase for a service of equal or lesser value. For example if you paid for a Double Bed then you can exchange it for Single Bed. However, if you choose to exchange you purchase for a service of lesser value, there will be no refund for the difference in price.

Debits

Each refund will be debited to client’s account which the initial payment was made from.

Refund Period

Every refund will be returned or issued to the customer after 30 working days.

Service Cancellation

In general, the cancellation policy is as follows:


All cancellations made according to the agreement will be refunded at 96% of the amount paid.

Refund Penalty

Every refund will be implemented with ( 4% ) penalty, this so because online transactions come at a commission that are charged by the bank. Take note that Plateau Guest House cannot claim a refund from the bank when commission has been charged.
